Looking for a Roof With a Long Life

In 2001 the Nabbefelds moved into a new home near Black Creek with a one-year-old roof, expecting it to last many years. However, by 2012 the traditional asphalt shingles were already curling and in need of replacement.

Coincidentally, Fox Cities Builders was installing a metal roof on a home about a mile away. “We liked the look of the metal roof and were impressed with the long lifespan, so we decided to have one installed on our house and on our additional, separate garage. We chose a hidden-fastener style in brown to match the tan color of the house,” said Pat Nabbefeld. “Jay was great to work with and answered all my questions. I expect this roof to last a long time,” he added.
